About Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum is a place of important, 'hands-on' historical sights, times, and events. It has educational value, and 'crosses many boundaries ' of the Colonial and Early Settler Pioneer lives of the times. Story The Beenleigh Historical Village hosts group bookings for numbers from as small as 10 to as large as 150 visitors. Our friendly, and well- informed Volunteers lead groups on a journey through the historic buildings , allowing you to be a part of activities such as old-fashioned washing, blacksmithing & woodcutting and lessons in our authentic late 1800s school complete with slates , and the oldest 3D glasses in the world! * The Village is constantly being maintained, to the highest level, with new experiences being implemented , to further enhance the knowledge of those times of Early Settlement in the area, and its inhabitants .
