About Painters and Decorators in Nelson specialising in commercial painting and residential house painting. Story We are painters and decorators, interior or exterior, residential, commercial, alterations, new houses, repainting old houses, wallpapering, roof painting, big commercial jobs or medium no job is to small or too big, we do it all, after all that is our job, from a front door to a 3 bedroom house to a stadium. Richard Haynes who owns the Nelson branch of Brown & Syme Paints used to work for a paint company so he knows about paint and how it is made, Richard know the systems, he has dealt with Architects and designers and wrote specifications on how to apply the paint and what paint to use. Richard can answer almost any questions you may have, and if he can't... then he will find the right answer for you! As a company we have formed partnerships and relationships with suppliers and accreditation with systems. We are registered as Master Painters, we mainly use Dulux or Resene Paints, we are registered applicators for Zone products, Equus, Nuplex and Intumescent fire coatings to steel and timber. We have the attitude that if it needs painting we can do it, if it needs a specialist coating we can do it, if we need to travel out of town we can do it, we like to help our clients in any way that we can.
