Story The Old Castlemaine Gaol is a multi-faceted venue that can be utilised in many ways. Tours are held Friday, Saturdays and Sundays to discover the history of the old Gaol. Events are brought to life in the Gaol, with a large beautiful space for musicians to play, and people to dance. Functions and weddings can be held in the Gaol, with a spacious area, and private outside courtyard for use. The Governor's Cafe is one part of the Old Castlemaine Gaol but operates different opening hours to the Old Castlemaine Gaol. The Governor's Cafe is closed Mon, Tues and Wed.
