Story Sherwood Business Services was established in 1990 by Jeff Read, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA). Jeff has over 40 years’ experience in accounting and senior management positions across a range of industries. He has worked in the UK, in New Zealand and since 1974 in Devonport, Tasmania. Originally established as a specialist bookkeeping and payroll service, Sherwood has since expanded to encompass the full range of traditional accounting, taxation and business advisory services. Our clients include a mix of individuals, micro businesses, small businesses, trusts, and larger regional businesses throughout Tasmania. Sherwood Business Services is a Reckon Accredited Partner as well as being a MYOB Accredited Partner. Sherwood’s Accountant-Manager, Sharlene Hardy, is also a Reckon and MYOB Certified Consultant.
