About Salt Contemporary Art showcases the work of Contemporary Australian painters, printmakers, sculptors and Ceramicists. Housed in a stunning former drapery store, the gallery offers two expansive exhibition spaces, along with a funky upstairs wine lounge. Story In January, Salt Gallery is open daily from 10.30am to 4pm. The Lounge @ Salt is open daily from 4pm. From February, Salt Gallery is open Friday though to Monday from 10.30 to 4pm and the Salt Lounge is open Friday and Saturday from 4pm. Please contact gallery for details of our extended opening hours in holiday periods. Please note that we close for an extended period in Winter each year.
