A crazed longtime local bibliophile laughs into the night. Before him, in quiet repose, lies The Imperial Bookshop: Tasmania's largest secondhand bookshop. Once it had been his master... Now those roles are reversed. Carefully, tenderly, lovingly, he clamps electrodes to the pert nipples of The Imperial. He flicks a switch.
