About St Philip’s Collingwood is an Anglican parish located at 146-148 Hoddle Street in Abbotsford. Sunday Holy Eucharist - 10am, Wednesday 10.30am. All welcome Story Anglican Church Service times: Sunday: 10.00am Sung Eucharist Wednesday (February – December): 10.30am Holy Eucharist (On the first Wednesday of each month the service will be held at Rushall Park, North Fitzroy). There is morning tea after each service. Mission As Christians, and disciples of Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to loving God and our neighbours as ourselves. We seek to live lives of service to one another, and to share God’s good news of love for all people. St Philip's is currently developing a vision and mission statement to direct our ministry in Collingwood. We would appreciate input from the parish and wider community. An Affirmation of Faith (the Apostles' Creed) which is affirmed at the celebration of the sacrament of baptism, the rite of Christian initiation: I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
