About Professional Music Teacher & Piano Accompanist in Melbourne. Inspirational and personalised Piano Lessons. All levels & styles, AMEB exams preparation. Story I am knowledgeable of different teaching styles and I am able to adapt these to the pupils' needs. I use a variety of resources and techniques gained over 10+ years of experience in both my private and classroom teaching. Preparation is the key for a good session. I plan each lesson in advance, as well as a long-term development plan, setting reachable objectives and making sure the pupil understands these before moving on to the next section in the lesson. In each lesson I intend to cover all the different aspects of Music Theory, Musicianship Skills, Aural and Kinaesthetic Training, and I use a diversity of materials such as flashcards and percussion instruments. Most importantly I encourage the pupil to make music from the first lesson. The time spent practicing at home is 90% of the job, I make sure my pupils know how to face and solve musical difficulties at home that will arise as they improve.
