About Dance Connection is Hamilton's latest dance studio, teaching modern jive (partner dancing) to modern music in a fun, sociable environment. Story The main form of dancing we teach is modern jive, which was developed in the 1980's in London. It's a combination of rock and roll, Latin and swing, but with simplified footwork to make it easier to learn. Why choose Dance Connection? •It’s fun way to spend an evening, learning a new skill and making new friends •Dancing gets your body moving to loosen you up and re-energise you after a day of work •Learn to dance with good footwork and form in a fun way •Enjoy dancing to popular music with a few classic hits thrown in as well •Come along on your own, with a partner or friend – everyone is welcome •No bookings required - come every week or whenever you can make it •Gain confidence to show off your moves in pubs, clubs, or at social events
