About Medical Practice: Bulk Billing Story Insight Medical was independently founded in March 2009 by Dr Vincent Cistulli & Daniela Mastroianni. At Insight Medical we are committed to providing better health and wellbeing within the Hills community. Our approach to patient care is based on building a personalized and long term relationship with each one of our patients. Our Staff Dr Vincent Cistulli (Director) I was born and schooled in Sydney and obtained my bachelor degree in medicine and surgery from Sydney University in 1996. I undertook physician training at RNS and RPA hospitals until early 2000, which was followed by a period of specialised training in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine until 2003. I obtained my specialist fellowship qualification with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. Also I have spent the last 6 years working in the field of emergency medicine in order to broaden my skill base and achieve a well rounded status as a ‘primary care’ physician both in metropolitan and rural areas. I currently sit on the board of the Hawkesberry Hills Division of General Practice as well as the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. Practice Manager Daniela Mastroianni Support Staff Charlene Patel Monique Fraser Fees All patients will be BULKED BILLED, however please keep in mind there are certain treatments and requests not covered by Medicare which will need to be privately billed and paid at the time of consultation. These include work cover, insurance assessments, medicals for work, diving assessments, certain tests, particular vaccinations and surgical and cosmetic procedures. Appointment times are held aside each day for emergencies, sick children and same day urgent reviews. Results As a general rule please make an appointment to follow up on results. Even if results are normal it is important to follow up with Dr Cistulli to ensure you medical care is being maximized. Privacy Policy prevents staff from discussing results over the phone, emailing or faxing results.
