About The Wildernis Cafe and Bar, in the heart of Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, is serving your fav eats, beats, coffee, beers and cocktails each day Story Nestled just off the Gold Coast Highway on Seventh Avenue in Palm Beach is Wildernis Cafe and Bar. The brainchild of locals Andy Canfield and Josh Bailey, Wildernis is a fusion of a relaxed dining atmosphere with some of the best beers, wines and cocktails the Gold Coast has on offer. Designed and constructed by the boys themselves, Wildernis is surrounded by a botanical border of useful plants – Andy and Josh are growing their own lemons and limes and have an internal herb garden, with the closed in honeycomb design sun roof, it forms a greenhouse effect – as well as setting the vibe as an indoor/outdoor garden space. Speckled with hanging plants and stag horns, Wildernis creates a unique destination for lunch, after work drinks and the perfect spot for weekend digs. Open from 6am daily for breakfast, grab your take away coffee and snacks for the day ahead or nosh down on our contemporary Australian style menu with a twist, available from lunch onwards with a share style tapas menu from early afternoon. Offering both craft and mainstream brews, Wildernis also has its own beer on tap – a lager called “Wild Thing” and a weekly house cocktail. Plenty of parking is available, Wildernis is open to late Thursday through Sunday.
