About Shorties Childrens Store has been helping you find beautiful gifts for bubs and kids since 2004, Now with two Shops in Sydney, -Leichhardt , And Newtown, and online 24 hours. Story Shorties Children's Stores, now 13 years young, are an institution in Sydneys Inner west. Now featuring two wonderful retail shops, one on fashionable South King Street in Newtown and the newest Emporium on Cosmopolitan Norton Street in Leichhardt. Shorties also has an extensive collection of highly curated Fashion and Toys for babies to aged 14 year online - www.shorties.com.au Shorties children's wear store was opened in 2004 in Newtown, Sydney by Celia Morris, owner and designer of Dragstar Clothing, to fill a need in the market for fashionable, original and retro inspired clothing and toys for newborns and children. Shorties supports handmade and handcrafted products made in small runs by local designers. We also stock previously unseen children's fashion labels which mix in with one of a kind hand-knits and original tops, skirts and dresses made in bold and vintage prints. Shorties do not stock logo oriented brands, mass produced and cheap imported labels. At Shorties we recycle all our plastic and cardboard packing and follow a sustainable business model where ever possible, and continue to strive to improve the footprint we leave behind.
