About Modern self contained apartments with stunning river and valley views located in the historic township of New Norfolk in the heart of the Derwent Valley. Story New Norfolk Holiday A Self contained studio and two bedroom apartments located in a quiet area of New Norfolk with stunning panoramic views of the rolling hills of the glorious Derwent Valley, Derwent River and historic township of New Norfolk. Just a short 2 km drive to the town centre and a 22 km drive to Hobart City, 45 minutes to Hobart Airport. Conveniently located within easy commuting distance to Mona, Agrarian Kitchen, Salmon Ponds, Mt Field National Park and the famous Russell Falls. Our two bedroom “Upper Deck” offers level entry from car park(no steps), fresh modern decor with queen bed in the main bedroom which has direct access to the spacious deck through large glass sliding doors. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and very solid king single bunk beds with the option of a trundle on request. This apartment can sleep up to 7 guests (using trundle) so is ideal for families or couples travelling together. The full modern kitchen is fully equipped and also offers laundry facilities. The bathroom has twin hand basins and a luxurious walk in rain shower. The sitting/ dining area has comfortable modern furniture with wide screen television, DVD player with huge windows which open out onto a large furnished deck so guests can sit back, relax and take in the stunning views of The Derwent Valley otherwise known as “The Valley Of Love” Upper Deck Rates are $285 per night for 4 guests, additional adults $35 per night, Children and babies $20 per night. Our Studio apartment “Lower Deck” also offers modern fresh decor with queen bed, sitting area with wide screen television, DVD player. The kitchenette offers a bar fridge, hot plates, microwave and everything needed to prepare light meals while travelling. The bathroom is very nicely appointed with walk in rain shower. There is a spacious, furnished covered deck. An ideal spot to relax and admire the beautiful panoramic views on offer. This option is great for couples. There are external steps to access the lower deck studio apartment from the car park making this option not so suitable for guests with serious mobility issues. Once on the deck however there are no steps within the area. Rates for the “Lower Deck” are $155 per night for up to 2 Guests.
