Phone: 08 9383 9022 Story Churchlands Primary School is an Independent Public School catering for 487 students from Kindergarten to year 7. Located in the leafy suburb of Floreat, approximately 7 kilometres north-west of the Perth CBD, it is a short walk from Churchlands Senior High School. Our specialist early childhood teachers and education assistants provide an innovative and engaging curriculum reflecting the outcomes of the National Early Years Learning Framework. The school has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, with opportunities for those who are academically talented. Since opening in February of 1965, the school has been committed to giving quality education to the young children in the Floreat region of WA. lt has a strong level of input from parents, with the majority of the school council being parents and having a great deal of input into the way the school works. The school also has a vibrant musical program, which includes a school choir, band and string ensemble.
