About Empire Swing - Paddington 7:00pm Level 1 Beginner Lindy Hop 8:15pm Level 2 Intermediate Lindy Hop Story Empire Swing - Paddington Facebook Page! Home of the "Paddington Bears" We teach this amazing dance known as Swing to new and intermediate dancers every Monday night in Paddington. No experience or partner required. Bring your friends, wear some comfy clothes and get ready to dance the night away! www.EmpireSwing.com.au Brisbane West Senior Citizens Hall 132 Latrobe Tce, Paddington, Qld Level 1 If you have never done Swing Dancing before, come along to our Beginner block! Classes run 6:30-7:30pm for 8 consecutive weeks, with a new block starting every 8 weeks. We start with the basics and progress through the exciting world of 6-beat Swing, Lindy Hop, and Charleston over the course. (Please note that to keep the class content moving, we don't take any new people into the class after week 2.) Level 2 For dancers wanting to build their repertoire of moves and develop their technique, our Intermediate classes run from 7:45pm to 8:45pm. Class Pricing Cost per class: $17 Adult / $15 Concession Block Pricing: $119 Adult / $105 Concession Cash only. Beginner classes may be paid individually on the night, or as a block of 8. Intermediate classes are 'drop in', and may be paid individually on the night, or a class pass may be pre-purchased through the Empire Swing website (linked above). Discounts apply to successive classes on a single night. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your class start time, (and be courteous to the class in progress).
