Experience nineteenth century South Australia through the life of Sir Henry Ayers, the five times Premier who built, furnished and decorated an opulent family home that embodies the luxurious lifestyles of wealthy colonial society. For decades the house was central to Ayers’ family life and an entertainment destination for Adelaide’s social and political elite. Join us for a guided tour, explore the house at your own pace, or take part in our exciting program of events, exhibitions and family-friendly programming. Opening and Closing Times Tuesday-Sunday: 10.00am-4.00pm The museum is closed Mondays, Good Friday and Christmas Day Prices Adult: $10.00 National Trust Members: Free Concession*: $8.00 Child 5-15 years: $5.00 Family (2 adults, 2 children): $30 Guided tours cost an additional $5 per person and run on the hour from 10am *Concession applies to full-time students, Australian Seniors card holders and pensioners with correct identification.
