About We are a group of psychologists who offer mindfulness meditation programs and individual counselling. Story FEBRUARY 2014 course The 8-Week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course developed by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre and taught around the world for the past 30 years , has been extensively researched & has been shown to help manage stress, develop greater body awareness, better manage difficult thoughts and feelings and to enhance concentration, relationships and wellbeing. The MBSR group program consists of 32 hours of teaching of mindfulness techniques : 8 two and a half hour weekly sessions plus one full day of practice (day/ date to be decided) It is for those who are wanting to deepen their mindfulness / meditation practice through a more comprehensive engagement with the practices. Location: 155 Langridge St , Collingwood. Commencing 7-9:30pm Mon Feb 17 continuing Feb 24, Mar 3, 17,24, 31, Apr 7, 14 2014 ( no group on March 10 Labor Day weekend) .
