About Self Defence, Kickboxing, Boxing for Fitness, Eskrima and Kids Parkour. Classes available for all age groups. Story RKD is a Freestyle or Mixed Martial Art (MMA) school based in the suburb of Bassendean, in Perth, Western Australia. RKD focuses on a practical and realistic approach to self defence, and the physical health and mental well-being of our students. We offer a number of separate courses to all age groups as follows: * Mini-Dragons (ages 3-5) * Kids (ages 6-10) * Young Adults (ages 11-14) * Adults (ages 15+) Our various syllabi draw techniques from other styles such as Muay Thai Kickboxing, Karate, Taekwondo, Ninjukai, Kung Fu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Eskrima (Kali) and Capoeira. All major weapons are studied within the syllabus from the green belt level. Apart from the standard course we also offer the following: * Eskrima (Filipino stick and knife fighting system) * Women’s Self Defence Course (Situation focused) * School & Corporate Programs (customised for your needs) * Private tuition (One-on-One martial arts training) * Personal Training (For your own personal health, weight, and fitness goals) "RKD is a Freestyle or Mixed Martial Art MMA that focuses on a practical approach to self defence, and the physical health and mental well-being of our students. We run out of a dedicated facility not a hired hall, specifically set up for martial arts training in the Perth suburb of Bassendean."
