About British @ The Port Lunch / Dinner Story One of the oldest pubs in Port Adelaide, the British Hotel has been beautifully renovated consisting of two dining areas, a large upstairs function room and a cellar. The British Hotel Port Adelaide offers great food and service. Come and enjoy a fabulous meal, while you overlook the Port River. Happy Hour is every weekday in the British Hotel. From Monday to Thursday Happy Hour is from 5 to 6 PM. Pints of any tap beer & house wine are only $5! Every Friday is a Happy Friday here at the British Hotel in Port Adelaide. Come and grab a Pint of James Squire beer, or a Coopers Pale Ale, a Super Dry or a Cider. There is something for everyone and only $5 for a pint or a schooner all night long! Between 5 and 8:30 PM natural or Kilpatrick oysters are only $1.50 each. Live music every Friday evening.
