About Gourmet Pet Food for your best friend!!! Story Located at 41 Broadway Glenelg Dogs walking down The Broadway in Glenelg are always dragging their two-legged friends into Scruffies. Unlike the name, this lime green painted gourmet pet food shop is far from scruffy – it’s doggie heaven. In the display fridge are free range chicken and turkey alongside fresh goat and wild rabbit. The gourmet meals like Chicken and Tuna Terrine, Roo Ragout and Braised Goat look like something you’d pick up yourself for dinner. Not to mention the home made doggie treats like liver treats and turkey cookies. All meals are preservative free and guaranteed to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. Scruffies is named after the owners’ (David and Jenny Green) dog and chief taste tester. Scruffie’s love their customers’ pets as much as their own and this reflected in the attention given to preparing meals. No order is ever too small, too big or too difficult. As David slices up a bone to your dog’s required size, Jenny will listen to your pet’s dietary and health needs and provide meal suggestions - she’ll also write your four-legged friend’s name on a doggie birthday cake. Scruffie’s friendly service and top quality pet food at reasonable prices has tails wagging across South Australia. Customers telephone in orders from as away as Broken Hill, Port Augusta and Kangaroo Island and when they drive down to Scruffies their meals are packed and ready to go.
