The business was started by Teody and Emma Francisco in 2000 and originally operated from a garage in Banks. Over three years the couple have built up their business, sourcing products from all over Asia as well as specialty items from the USA and New Zealand. They have worked hard and built up a great reputation for quality and service and opened the shop “T & E Asian Grocery” at the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets in 2003. For the first few years they operated from a small shop on the eastern side of the markets and now with the market wide renovation almost complete operates from a new and spacious store. This has allowed them to increase their range massively and provide even more exotic choices for their customers.
