About headspace Bendigo provides free services to support, information and assistance for young people aged 12 to 25 years who are going through a tough time. Story Would you like to talk with someone about: •feeling depressed or anxious? •feeling like you are not coping? •finding solutions to issues that are concerning you? •not sleeping well or sleeping too much? •finding it hard to concentrate or make decisions? •changes in your appetite or energy levels? •feeling alone or no-one understands you? •concerns with your drinking or drug use? •concerns about relationships? •education and training? •feeling that you don't understand what is happening to you? •being bullied, hurt or sexually harassed? •having difficulty finding a job or where you are living? •concerns about family members' mental health? Mission To be the voice in youth mental health in the areas of service delivery, research and development, service reform, community engagement and advocacy. Products At headspace Bendigo we have a number of different staff who can help you, including Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Youth workers, Social workers, Drug and alcohol workers, school and work advisors and Counsellors. If there are significant concerns, we may need to pass on your contact information to authorities who can help protect you and/or others, such as a crisis service or the police. Our preferred way to do this would be to support you to seek help.
