About The Galleon Family Complex Story The Galleon Family Complex, situated at the north end of Oamaru, is your one stop for family fun, great meals and a place to catch up with friends. Come in and enjoy our family friendly atmosphere, have a go at tenpin bowling before or after you have a meal in our restaurant, or grab a drink and a bite to eat from our bar. Our restaurant can seat 90 people at any one time, while we can also cater to larger groups and functions, with a fully furnished function room that can seat up to 120 people. For those looking to have some fun while they are here, we have an 8 lane tenpin bowling alley, an arcade games area for the kids, as well as an 18 machine class 4 gaming room.
