About We are family owned pet food store producing a wide range of fresh premium quality pet foods.We also stock premium dry foods and a large selection of toys,accessories and treats Story OUR HISTORY Our Passion & Our Mission Rubens has been a part of the Blackwood community for over 27 years. The name of the shop comes from the original owners Bernese Mountain dog, Ruben became not only part of the shop but a part of the Blackwood community, people travelled from all over SA to visit the shop to see Ruben. Sadly Ruben passed away, but the name stuck and that's the way we like it. We want shopping at Rubens to be an experience the whole family can enjoy.
