About Housed on the first floor of the Mermaid SLSC clubhouse at 172 Hedges Avenue Mermaid Beach, our licensed club takes advantage of the unique beachfront loca Story The Mermaid Beach Surf Club Supporters Association operates licensed food and beverage facilities that provide financial support for the Surf Lifesaving club. Housed on the first floor of the clubhouse, the licensed club takes advantage of the unique beachfront location and is a popular alternative to the many locals, tourists and visitors to the area. The Supporters Club holds the liquor and gaming licenses on behalf of the Surf Club and donates all profits for use in the day to day running of all Surf Club services. The licensed club has all the facilities expected in the hospitality industry including a bar, bistro, gaming machines and keno as well as a fantastic kids playroom. Our restaurant menu offers our old time favourite club classics as well as a number of tantalizing dishes including a great combination of seafood, poultry, beef and other local delicacies.
