About Kando Martial Arts is one of Victoria's most successful and innovative martial arts centres, offering martial arts training for the whole family. Story Thank you for the interest in our club. At Kando we believe that martial arts is more than just punching and kicking. Do students at Kando know how to defend themselves? Absolutely! Any student that trains at Kando learns awareness and defensive skills to cover a large range of situations. But just as importantly, we believe in helping the student to reach their full potential in fitness, confidence and a positive outlook. Kando Martial Arts is a blend of traditional (Shukokai) karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Philippine Martial Arts. We have been teaching children and adults for over 20 years, and are a part of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF) and Karate Victoria, the Government recognised Karate organisations.
