About Wanganui Park Secondary college Story The school has about 5,500+ students.[2][3] The school has an innovative curriculum, with the most notable feature being its Vertical Modular Grouping (VMG) system and also offers 2 other levels - Year 7, and the VCE.[citation needed] One of the school's teachers received a state award for innovative teaching in 2008.[4] The school has received a federal grant for a literacy and numeracy program.[5] A new, innovative program called "Learning to Learn" was implemented in 2009
