It features rare and spectacular fossils and minerals and T. rex. The Somerville Collection is the lifetime work of Warren Somerville and features some of the finest and rarest examples of minerals and fossils in the world. It is housed in the 1876 Public School building which underwent major refurbishment before being fitted out with stunningly beautiful exhibitions. Mission The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum will preserve, interpret and make accessible for all, the Somerville Collection of fossils and minerals to increase understanding about the Earth, its history and our place in it.
