About The 2018 show will be held Saturday 20th October - Sunday 21st October. For more information visit our website. Story The show began as part of the Proud to Participate Community Strengthening Communities State Government initiative. The Art Show found a new ‘home’ at Noble Park Community Centre in 2006. This vibrant community event is organised by a dedicated voluntary committee made up of local artists, with administrative support from staff of Noble Park Community Centre. The City of Greater Dandenong provide a community grant and sponsorship is sought to cover costs of mounting the show and prize money. Sponsorship is committed by local agencies and businesses through monetary or in-kind support. We aim to unite groups who have an interest in art across the City of Greater Dandenong, celebrating community art in a socially inclusive environment. The show offers the local community a unique opportunity to display their work in a non-threatening but professional setting where many artists may be first time exhibitors. We are pleased to be able to offer a range of prizes and awards. This includes a significant $500 first prize to the best City of Greater Dandenong School display to be used in their art program as well as $100 for the runner up school. Mission To engage and enrich the community by offering a vibrant experience showcasing art work by emerging and established artists, cultural and linguistically diverse artists, local schools, aged care facilities, and artists with all abilities
