Story JULIANNE Julianne is the head Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist who overseas her talented team with a passion. She has an infectious warm energy to which Brides all too often report feeling comfortable and relaxed in her company. Proudly a self taught Hair Stylist, it comes as second nature to her. “I can just look at a picture and create it.” Julianne also completed a course at Napoleon Perdis’ Makeup Academy back in 2001. But she doesn’t attribute her skills to her time there. Instead she firmly believes that experience, practice and passion is where real skill lays. “You can’t be taught those qualities by anyone, or by any school. You’ve either got it or you don’t. It comes down to confidence and basic guidance.” She adds, “The number of times I’ve seen dodgy makeup jobs and poorly finished hair by “professionally trained” people just amazes me.
