About My aim is to provide information to the curious about pregnancy and what's new in the world of women's health Story Dr Pat is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He heads up a team dedicated to the care of women at every stage of life. “My practice’s philosophy is to see the patient as an individual, to treat everyone with respect and to deliver exceptional clinical care for every woman.” The practice has been in operation since 2009 and is located in Soldiers Hill. Most patients are from Ballarat and surrounding districts but others travel from Melbourne's west and from areas such as Bacchus Marsh and Melton. He mainly sees patients at Ballarat's state of the art private hospital, St John of God Hospital. Dr Pat completed his medical degree in 1996 and began his medical career in General Practice. This has given him a breadth of knowledge that he applies to his every day practise. He decided to further his expertise and started specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Melbourne’s Royal Womens Hospital. Over six years based at The Womens, Pat developed his expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology, in particular vaginal surgery, laparoscopic surgery and complex obstetrics including the management of twin pregnancies.
