About Our shop in the Launceston CBD, is filled with wonderful works from local Tasmanian Artisans. Story The Tasmanian Artisan Shop has over 100 different artisans and crafts people work in our store. There is something for everyone, we have wood work from small boxes or bowls to coffee tables, we have photography, artwork, hand crafted and hand crafted jewellery, pottery, glass work, hand knitted items, candles, scarfs, handbags, journals/diaries and lots more, the most important thing is that everyone that is in our store are all Tasmanian and we pride our self's in supporting Tasmanian's and giving them an opportunity to get there work out there. The Owners Ron and Kim are both local artists. For the last 4 years since opening they had been going to the Evandale market, meeting fantastic artists that they were next to each weekend. The idea of a store was thought up by Ron and the late Chris Bennett. With a fantastic variety and an every growing store, we want to continue supporting local Tasmanians.
