About Queechy High School is an inclusive learning community committed to meeting the educational needs of its large and diverse student population. Story For over 50 years Queechy High School has had a reputation for delivering excellent educational outcomes for all students. Our high quality teaching and learning programs enable us to be a leading secondary school in Tasmania. More than 700 students choose to attend Queechy, arriving from our six local primary schools and joining others from interstate and international origins. The rich diversity of our students is a feature of our school, providing opportunities to develop broad understandings and experiences that will best prepare them for successful futures. Our school is staffed by a highly committed and talented team of teachers and support personnel. As far as possible we make decisions and develop structures that allow us to foster and maintain strong, productive relationships providing quality pastoral care and supporting our students as they move from being dependent to interdependent learners and citizens. The Queechy curriculum develops essential skills, builds deep understandings and, importantly, promotes key personal and interpersonal attributes.
