About Ultrasound for Women Penrith is a women's ultrasound service specialising in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound. Story Welcome to Ultrasound for Women, Penrith. We are a locally based practice of diagnostic ultrasound in pregnancy and gynaecology under the direction of Dr Valeria Lanzarone. Our sonographers are highly qualified and our doctors are all Obstetrician Gynaecologists who have long standing experience and expertise in ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. We offer a comprehensive range of specialised services. This includes fully accredited Nuchal Translucency screening, examination for fetal abnormality, 3D and 4D scanning, Prenatal diagnosis, infertility scanning and Tubal Patency assessment, gynaecological scanning for all problems from puberty to older age and the latest in ultrasound staging of complex endometriosis. Ours is a small and personal practice able to offer you a quality and affordable service. We have excellent relationships with the general Practitioners and Specialists in our area and liaise closely with both Nepean Public and Private Hospitals to allow rapid communication of your results and timely follow up in the case of abnormal findings. We consider ourselves fortunate to work in a field that is interesting and challenging, whether that be assisting women confronted with gynaecological or pregnancy related problems or sharing in the experience of expectant parents.
