About Aynsley Street Preschool is a quality boutique early childhood centre in Timaru. Story We Believe In planning for the individual child. In developing quality and respectful, reciprocal, relationships with tamariki, their whanau and our community. That qualified and reflective teachers will create an environment that will attract and engage the children, so that by degrees, they become calmer and more in control of their bodies and their actions. That learning should be fun for all children We Respect All Children’s values and beliefs, we celebrate and acknowledge their individual uniqueness and view their development holistically. All of our resources and our environment. We show respect for our peers, teachers, visitors to our preschool and our community. Our families/whanau from all backgrounds and cultures. Everyone is warmly welcomed and they will be encouraged to participate and contribute to their child’s learning journey. We respect and honor Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum as our guiding document and work towards meeting the aspirations of this curriculum. New Zealand has a unique bi-cultural heritage, which will be reflected in our learning environment.
