About The International Chinese School is a wonderful place to start your child on a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Story ICS offers a bilingual education in English and Chinese to students from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. We strive to cultivate a caring school culture, and pursue academic excellence through its well-planned and outstanding co-curricular programmes. Classes initially begin with Kindergarten in 2015, Year 1 in 2016 and Year 2 in 2017. It is hoped to have established a Kindergarten to Year 6 by 2021. ICS is a not for profit organisation. The School is an independent Christian School and is governed by the International Chinese School School Board. It works closely with St. Paul's Anglican Church, Chatswood and the majority of the board members are members of St. Paul's Anglican Church. With the strong belief of bilingual education, our school not only covers all the key learning areas of the New South Wales Board of Studies curriculum with Christian perspective but also includes daily language immersion in Mandarin. The International Chinese School is located in Chatswood CBD with only 9 minutes walk to Chatswood Station, Chatswood Bus Terminal and Westfield Shopping Centre. The school has its own car park so that parents can drop off and pick up their children with ease.
