About Community hub for Northland and adjacent suburbs in Wellington. Office hours: 11am - 5pm Monday to Friday Story We develop, nurture and manage a community centre to provide activities that encourage community spirit through service and cooperation. The centre is available to Northland residents and the wider community. The centre has a basketball court hall area with stage ($40 p/hr). Smaller lower hall space with kitchen facilities ($30 p/hr). A large meeting room with kitchen facilities ($25 p/hr). Smaller meeting rooms. Please enquire about reduced rates for community groups and regular bookings. A refundable bond may be required at the time of booking. Current activities available at NMCC include: Badminton, Cubs and Scouts, Youth Drop In Centre, Harbour City Rock'n Roll, Kempo Martial Arts, Mah-Jong, After School Care, Rhee TaekwonDo, Shaoin-ryuku, Tinakori Lions, BDS Book Discussion, Yoga, Karate, Zumba. Products Hall spaces and meeting rooms for hire Production and distribution of Northland community newsletter.
