About Courthouse ARTS. For young, emerging and future artists. Mission Our mission is to nurture young, emerging and future artists in the Geelong region. We create, commission and collaborate. We promote discussion between artists at all stages of development. We initiate and produce outstanding new performance, visual art and media projects. We provide opportunities and pathways. We offer mentoring, training and development for young artists and we actively invest in the local cultural economy. Courthouse ARTS is a non judgmental environment that provides a permanent dynamic infrastructure to amplify the voice of young people in Geelong. We aim to become a hub for independent thinking and artistic exploration and a leader in the creation and development of new work on the national stage.
