About Providers of Physiotherapy Services to Wangaratta and surrounding Regions Story Welcome to PhysioCare Wangaratta & Northeast Hand Therapy. Our experienced Physiotherapists have been providing Physiotherapy services to Wangaratta and surrounding Communities since 2003. We assess, diagnose and treat many problems including: • Back, neck pain and headache / migraine • Sports injuries • Arthritis • Post surgical rehabilitation • Hand therapy and splinting including wound management • Chest Physiotherapy • Paediatric (child) assessment and therapy • Exercise rehabilitation & gym facilities AQUATIC THERAPY: Physiotherapists run a supervised group Aquatic Therapy Class on Tuesdays and Fridays at the Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre. A full assessment in rooms is required prior to admission to this group. HAND GROUP: Hand Groups run on Mondays and Thursdays. This group caters for clients with chronic or seriously injured hands and admission is at the suggestion of the treating Physiotherapist. COMPENSABLE TREATMENT: We provide services for clients who are managed by : • TAC • WORKCOVER • COMMCARE • DVA • POST ACUTE CARE We are recognised providers of Occupational Physiotherapy Management for TAC and Victorian WorkCover clients. ENHANCED PRIMARY CARE (MEDICARE FUNDED PHYSIOTHERAPY) EPC is available to anyone who is judged to have a complex or chronic problem. An EPC is completed by your Doctor and provides access to up to 5 Physiotherapy visits per year.
