About Eltham Home Timber & Hardware is conveniently located and operated by people who live in the local community. Providing friendly personal service, our staff have in-depth knowledge, to give you expert advice for projects inside and outside your home. Story The Eltham Timber and Hardware business was purchased by Rob Deylen and family in October 1974. In those days there was only a small shop area. In summer, the yard was a dustbowl, in winter; a mudheap. There was no forklift and all cement was unloaded by hand. In 1995 the whole premises was revamped and renovated. This resulted in a much larger shop area and a large undercover timber yard. It was at this time that the business entered the ‘Home' group.
