About Brookside | Your way to better shopping. Story Brookside Shopping Centre is a regional shopping centre, located less than ten kilometres north-west of the Brisbane CBD. Built in 1971 and having undergone two stages of redevelopment since then, Brookside currently stands at 50,433sqm lettable area, with Target (opening late 2017) Big W, Woolworths and Coles Supermarket and 120 Specialty Retailers. The abundance of undercover parking with convenient access is a strength and point of difference from all other competition, as well as the easy one level shopping. The taxi rank, bus stop and train station are all conveniently located on the Centre’s doorstep. Customer facilities at Brookside include the Customer Service Desk providing information on the Centre, the stores and local area.
