"Cairns Street Chaplains is a not-for-profit organisation that provides basic first aid and other care to those who need it in the Safe Night Precinct on Friday and Saturday nights. A group of trained volunteers work from a 'Rest and Recovery' van on the corner of Shields and Grafton Street and also walk through the precinct looking out for those who are at risk due to alcohol and/or drug intoxication or who are otherwise vulnerable. Our aim is to provide an 'all care, no judgement' service keeping people safe, and where ever possible making sure that good nights out don't end up going bad."
