Our core specialty is Cosmetic Dentistry including full reconstruction and Implant Surgery with specialist-grade implant systems. We also pride ourselves on our highly successful management of TMJ/grinding disorders and sleep apnoea/snoring. Dr David Cao, founding principal of Hawthorn East Dental, obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science at University of Melbourne in 2004, after completing VCE at Melbourne Grammar School in 1999. David takes pride in his gentle and calming approach to dental procedures, with a large following of patients whom have fear of the dentist. He aims to build rapport and patient’s confidence with dental visits. Dr Cao is a member of ADA, OM and accredited dental surgeon at Bellbird Private Hospital.
