About www.alexearl.com.au lighting furniture and sound Story Alex Earl is a Melbourne-based design studio revelling in exploring materiality, and pushing boundaries across a number of disciplines. The Alex Earl team design and make virtually every component of their range in their workshop, thriving on new challenges, and constantly seeking to innovate through design. Whilst based in Collingwood, Melbourne, they also maintain an underwater sea-lab in the Mid-Pacific, conducting submarine acoustic research whilst documenting, cataloguing and eating all that they discover.
