We had about 10 Windows Installed through them now. Very Happy about the product - UPVC Windows - added so much ambience, weather proof and noise proof to the rooms. Also Five Stars to the Lewis & Co - The Installers team - so friendly, no fuss and got the installtion done in time. The only thing is one has to wait for about 6 to 8 months to have the windows supplied.
Installed windows look great, attenuate external noise extremely well and offer excellent thermal insulation. Comparable product to windows in European houses. Installation went smoothly. Lewis and team did a great job.
I was one of the first customers of the Ecovue double glazed windows and doors. After 11 years of sun/weather, the doors and windows still look like new. Recently went back for wheelsroller change, Lisa was very helpful patient and friendly. And the part is of top quality, the door now moving smoothly like a dream!
We have had a long journey with Ecovue windows which started late 2019. To say we have a lot of windows in our home Hills District, Sydney is an understatement. We were looking at replacing 29 windows and glass doors and two solid doors. After doing quite extensive research I landed on Ecovue. We have been working towards equipping our 1980's build home to be more eco-friendly and energy efficient and double glazing is the way to go. We have just now finished part two of the installation which was a no-brainer after the first 80% was so successful. We have the following: double glazed, low-E treated windows and sliding doors with micro venetians and an insulated double glazed front and laundry door. The impact has been remarkable. We have reduced our energy consumption by 45%, that includes over the lockdown while we were home, running our ducted AC and with the introduction of a little one to the house. Our house remains a consistent 22 degrees in summer and winter. We only run the AC once or twice a day to keep it constant. Our house is very cold but this winter was bearable and our first summer with the windows meant we were very comfortable on those scorching Sydney days. The noise cancellation is also outstanding. We have had ongoing construction next door for months and haven't heard a thing. The aforementioned baby's room is right against that adjoining fence and his naps have seldom been disrupted. The finishes are modern and have elevated the look of our already beautiful home. Our friends and family are astonished at the sleek look and quality of the windows and doors. The micro-venetians have also been an excellent addition. They have opened up our rooms to look more spacious. There is no maintenance or cleaning. With a young family this is blessing. Products of this calibre and sturdiness do require patience because they are imported. There are long lead in times and COVID has made this exceedingly challenging and frustrating at times. In the scheme of things though, a minor inconvenience. It is also very much at the top end of the price range but you certainly get what you pay for and for us, long term, it is a sound investment. I highly recommend Ecovue Double Glazed.
Overall we are happy with our solution the doors and windows are of a great quality, the installers were great guys and got the job done in horrendous weather, a gave a 4 rather than a 5 due to some pre-installation experience issues however we happy customers.
The decision to makeover our house with new windows was at first a cosmetic one, until I spent some time o/seas. After living a few years in England I realised the benefits of double glaze and it was then I was completely converted, and knew when I would return that this was something I would want to have in my home. I chose Ecovue because their product looked and felt the most authentic to the quality that is everyday in Europe and UK. I had gone through a few different companies to get an idea of measurements and quotes etc but in the end the ease of working with Ecovue was a valuable decision, because we had a number of windows, and decisions to make, which required patience and Warren was so helpful with that process. I have not looked back and am enjoying both the functionality of the windows, the 'quiet' and the 'consistent temperature' throughout the home. They are so easy to open and shut and I absolutely love them. Thank you to Ecovue who also took care with professional installers and customer care. Best looking windows too!!
Everything from product, the company’s communications right through to the installation was amazing. I would recommend this highly professional company to anyone. The finished windows look amazing, so quiet and no more leaks.
Our Ecovue windows really lifted the look of the house. Inside stayed warm through the winter and it’s lovely and cool still compared to the heat outside. The installation went smoothly. Only sad part is having to wait so long for the windows to arrive, but the result is worth the wait.
It has now been 9 months since we had our uPVC windows installed by ecovue. And around 9 months that I have held off writing this review.. overall the product seems to be good quality and does make the house look more modern. However, I have found the communication and response from ecovue poor. We had a number of issues with our install, locking mechanisms not functioning as they should, pulldown flyscreens not delivered/installed upon initial upvc window installation, and not completed until a month later.. and most recently, our faulty window was replaced 'out of the blue' almost 9 months after emailing photos of the issue! No updates. No communication. And replaced with a window from a different manufacturer - without notice or consultation. If you look at my previous reviews, you will see that I don't often put up a negative review, and I always try to be as honest as possible. I genuinely support double glazed windows. However I feel that in our case, my wife and I have not been properly communicated with and have not been 'kept in the loop' by ecovue, perhaps seen as a small job on the central coast and possibly seen as a low priority.. I have had friends and family ask if I would recommend ecovue to them, and unfortunately, based on a lack of communication and after sales customer care, I would not.
I supply PU Foam, Sealants & Trim to this company. So you will know that the installation will be done with proper materials at your job site each time, peace of mind for the customer! A+
