Nice store, selection is good, staff are professional, location is great, prices are medium to high but you expect that from a store in the middle of the city.
Outstanding art supply store, with an eye-popping range of colour and texture in every imaginable hue. I was so impressed that they not only had gold powder in a variety of shades, but the sales assistant knew exactly where to direct me, and offered practical advice, as well. My transaction was completed by Chris, who was brilliantly friendly and charming. I highly recommend this branch of Eckersley's.
A fabulous range of materials at Eckersley’s. As a photographer, I have found colour cardboard in various thickness and sizes. Do not forget to ask for a student discount if appropriate.
Visited this location with my partner and straight away it was clear they felt he was out of place - they asked us if we needed help an excessive amount and did so with a judgemental tone and face. This is very disappointing to me especially considering he wasn’t anything wrong or suspicious, he was simply not their typical clientele. We are aware there may be a store policy to greet each guest, but this was clearly pointed and done more than once by the same staff member. Please consider addressing this with your staff, or perhaps conducting some diversity and sensitivity training so that people of all walks of life can feel comfortable in your store.
Picked up watercolours yesterday and I'm so sorry I never got your name the girl working was so patient and helped me so much. Thank you so much! They have such a large range of products too. I'll be going here for art supplies in the future

Great range of items for artists using a variety of mediums. Really helpful staff who took my list and showed me everything and relevant alternatives. No problems when I returned some things to the shelves. Great service but a bit expensive.
One of my favourite art supply shops. Such abundance of supplies! The staff are very friendly and very helpful and they have CoVid-19 security procedures in place. Nothing has changed since last I went, just as safe, friendly and helpful.
Loved the service i got from this place, the staff were all knowledgable, honest and friendly. I usually take a long time to browse and sometimes staff members kind of follow you around and pressure you but nope, i happily shopped for an hour and felt at ease and comfortable enough to ask questions when needed. I also appreciate the watercolour paper sample i got from one of the staff members. I got served by at least 4 different staff members and they were all genuinely awesome. I appreciate you all!
