Billy-Joe is an absolute legend and the definition of customer service. He went above and beyond for me, and had a few successful upsells as he sold them so well to me. You’re in good hands!
I got a console repaired through the store and had a million questions as I was cautious of getting ripped off, the girl who served me when I dropped it in was incredibly helpful and made the process easy. I never caught her name but credit to her regardless, and when I picked up the console, the other person who served me was kind and friendly and streamlined the process. Probably the most consistently helpful ebgames I've been to.
Really helpful guy walked us through the pros and cons of various wireless headsets suitable for connecting to a PS5. In the end he sent us to EB at Aspley to get a headset they had in stock.
A store where the staff genuinely love their job, a rare thing. It's always enjoyable to be greeted with enthusiasm and passion whilst receiving helpful advice
Staff were lovely, I have had issues with staff in the past at the Chermside store but that was before they shifted to the opposite side. I don't game trade because the trade value is abysmal and you need to do your research as they can be the cheapest around on a lucky day but it is just as regular to find they are the most expensive with the preowned games often at a higher price than a competitor's brand new copy, BUTthey do have a decent range and they have also price matched for me, so long as it's in stock in a physical store near thier store.
The new store location feels a lot more open and clean. The staff are quite attentive and friendly. Always had excellent service at this location.
My kids love this store and nintendo switch and games they recommend. As im not a video game person i dont know what to buy for kids. Im glad for the recommendations. Also u can buy preowned games for cheaper too.

Very dissapointed in the service we got here on the weekend. Came to purchase a nintendo switch lite, grabbed it off the shelf. Waited for HALF AN HOUR in the queue. Totally understood that someone was returning a HEAP of games but there was another line and it could've got dealt with better. After our wait we were told that there was a click and collect for that item 2 hours ago so they only had pink left. Not good enough. Luckily we found it on Amazon for $40 cheaper. Won't be going back to the EB store here sorry.
