Disappointing you can’t sit and eat anywhere. Ironically, you can’t “Eat at Rob’s”. I get it, it’s a butcher, but why offer cooked food/meals and expect people to sit on the gutter to eat? Not even a table on the footpath. Seriously.nnWe walked up the road to find somewhere suitable and found a few benches. Nowhere to wash up, no bathrooms.nnThankfully both the single and double burgers and the fries were decent at 8/10. Very basic burgers, but they’re done well with quality ingredients.nnWith its lack of sit down options and a couple of burgers to choose from we won’t be back any time soon. Good for the locals, but not worth travelling for.
I am not sure what the fuss about !! Or maybe just today they got it all wrong !! Burger patties were way way too thin!! Burnt and just couldn’t feel the taste of the meat. Even the girl who served us Aussie one she wasn’t interested in working or serving or pretty much anything. Anyway !! Pictures would speak for itself So no one says I was unfair. Plus !! I have been in the business myself for over 30 years until I retired !! So i know my food ..
We were hyped to try this place but unfortunately it was sprinkling when we arrived. The burger was heavyset for a smashed patty, and the shear heat killed the lettuce and pickles. Fries were bland no salt or any seasoning. No bathroom or a sink to wash up. The friendly staff was the best part of the meal. Pricing was a little more expensive than expected but considering location and speed of service it was valid.
A truly flavoursome burger, one of my favourites to date. All the ingredients were extremely fresh, and I love the thin beef patty with so many options for extras. The chips are soft inside and have a perfectly crispy outer, which is seasoned with a yummy chicken salt. Highly recommend!
Counter at the butcher selling burgers, there's nowhere to sit so you'll need to walk around and find a chair or bench.nNothing to write home about with this burger. Tastes like something you'll make at home, slightly above average mince quality with onions and salt in the parties. The ratio of the mince has a bit too much lean as well so there's not much flavour. Decent char when they cook it but that's the only good thing I have to say.nThere's also way too much lettuce which includes the part which contains water as well so you can taste more of that than you should if it was shredded and with only the thinner leafier parts.nnAll in all very average and I don't get what the hype is about.
