I've smoked on and off for twenty odd years and whenever I did stop, felt miserable because I couldn't smoke. When my children came along I stopped and started again with both and hated not being able to stay stopped even more. Oh the guilt!! My partner was also a smoker who had struggled to quit and picked up a copy of Alan Carr's easyway. I watched him happily and easily throw his addiction in the bin after many, many years. It was unbelievable. Obviously, I had to try! One of the absolute best things about the Easyway method is that unlike any other time I've stopped using willpower, I have no desire whatsoever to smoke. I now understand the tricks of the addiction and can't describe how good it feels to know I'm a non smoker. For good!! I will shout this from the rooftops to all smokers everywhere! Even if you're not 100% sold on the idea, there's no harm in just having a go. You don't HAVE to stop but there is a really, really good chance that you will not only WANT to but enjoy the process of doing so. Thank you Alan Carr for giving me my life back!!
8 months since I attended and haven't even considered having a cigarette. I could not recommend the seminar's higher. I don't believe any smoker can truly understand how easy it is to quit until either reading the book or attending the seminar. I know how scary quitting seems but you literally have nothing to lose. It is over years since I attended the course on the 28th November 2009. The reason I went was because 2 colleagues from work were going and I thought I would give it a go. I walked out and have not smoked since. From a 60 a day habit to nothing. The greatest gift I had back is time, time where I am not thinking about or actually smoking. I tried several times to stop. I’m sorry this has taken me so long, but everything is all about timing. It has now been 6 months since my daughter talked me into attending the Allen Carr’s Easyway Clinic. I must say that I will be forever grateful that she did, and I also convinced my husband to attend with us. My main reasoning for me not wanting to attend, was the cost of the clinic, the 2 hours travel time to get there and the wasted time that I thought it would be, as most of these sorts of things are. You know the normal excuses that we are forever creating in our minds to avoid that terrible feeling of failure. I had tried just about everything over my past 30 years as a 40 per day smoker, tablets, patches, hypnotherapy, acupuncture and other natural therapies, but nothing would work for me. During this clinic all I could think of was, “How in the world is she going to make me a NON-smoker???” not believing that this was possible. On the odd occasion I do think about how easy it would be to strike one up, but then I think about all the positives there are for not smoking: I don’t stink of smoke as I have really long hair the stench is with me constantly, my young son doesn’t have to wait for me to finish smoking before he can show me what he has been working on, the money that I have been able to put away to actually have renovations done to our house, and the list goes on. And you know what, I really don’t want to have another smoke. Yeah it might be really easy to strike one up but that would be the end of it. I know that I wouldn’t be able to just have one. Any hoot just wanted to drop a line and say a really huge THANKS. Life is so much easier as a NON smoker. I no longer have to make escape plans when we go out when trying to find somewhere to sneak a ciggy. And I seriously didn't believe that there wouldn't be any cravings. Awesome - it truly feels like I cheated somehow, because it is so easy. Ahh that's why it's called the EASYWAY!!! This was so worth the financial outlay.
Would highly recommend! I was skeptical at first, as to how quitting smoking would be "easy"... BUT IT WAS!!! I cant believe it took me so long to try! Anyone wanting to quit should read this!
