Looking for a multi-cultural experience? Wander through Eastwood shopping centre. Split by the railway line, you will mingle with Korean people on the east side and Chinese people on the west side. Jostle with the friendly crowds, listen to the locals bargain with the shopkeepers and guess at the dialogue, spy the different fruit and vegetables and smell the delicious odours emanating from the food shops. An inexpensive outing that is highly recommended.
This was once a vibrant hub with a lot of varied shops. We went there yesterday and found one escalator not working, not worth going theatre 2nd floor. If the management can't be bothered to maintain the centre, why go
Great Sunday lunch with family. Excellent customer service with clean, tidy and cozy dining area. I wish I could stay l9nger in Hong Kong and indulge myself with more buffet lunch there :
Today 20 May 2025 12:30 pm, Just found people stuck in the parking lift in the shopping. Lift was stopped in between level 3 and 4. Tried to call number 6498166 seen on the wall outside the lift , Call was rejected due to invalid number. Tried to add a 9 in front to make 9649 8166, and an electronic message said that this number was disconnected.nThat is completely unacceptable, from a Shopping Centre management perspective. People in the lift were elderly who may not be able to call emergency for help. People outside the parking lift were also unable to help due to invalid phone number.nA call to police to address the issue could be warranted.
It happened few times that both lift and escalate in the Eastwood Shopping Centre building were shut down at 9.00 am, customers couldn't taking the shopping trolley to the car park. I tried ringing the number 0452099800, but no one answering my call. non shop owners or assistant could help. Terrible experiences!!! Will never go to there to shop!
